I sorta did. We emailed pictures back and forth say from Robbins Brothers and I showed him a few styles that I liked... and he was being tricky and sending me pics of rings that had fewer and fewer side rings... so he had negotiatied me down to a center with only 2 tiny tiny side diamonds as a business major would do. ha ha. In the end, he surprized me with one of my original favorites that had 10 total princess diamonds on the side. So you could give him a variety of rings that you like as a "guideline" and then be surprized by what he picks out.. besides, the size and cut of the center diamond could be a surprize too :-)
