how about a fountain (that runs on battery)? Check out knottie, Joobee's bio. She had a fountain, candles, and flowers as ctrpcs. Maybe your friend can get a really cool & (cheap) fountain from chinatown. ur friend can also place the favors in the middle around the fountain so it won't look so empty. someone also posted using decorated wine bottles as the ctrpcs. goodluck!
