I never got a straight perm, but my hair is naturally super straight and hard to curl(one time I got a perm and when I washed my hair the next day my hair was straight). Anyways I am sure your hair stylist can still curl your hair for the big day because they were able to curl my hair for my studio pictures. I told her my hair was hard to curl, so she left the curlers on a little longer. You don't have to worry.
