I hate to tell you this, but for a decent straight perm, you're looking at $200+ in the SGV/Rowland Heights area. I got mine from Moon Design in Rowland. They usually charge $250, and they discounted me to $230. I kept bargaining, and ended up getting it done for $200 even. But everywhere else I've called runs about the same price. There is a really nice Japanese salon called J's Hair Studio in City of Industry, and they charge around $250. I've seen less nicer places charge for around $120, but I don't know how their work is. By the way, it IS harder to hold a curl for chemically straightened hair. I think the stylist could still do it, but I've found it much more difficult to curl hair that has been chemically straightened. Good luck!
