OMG! I just had a heart attack. I have booked my banquet there for 11/2006. I called my friend who works there immediately. He told me that he has heard of no such news and really doubts thats true. He said the owner is still investing more money in the place in new tables, chairs, and other renovations, so he wouldn't be planning on selling anytime soon. And even if a restaurant is sold, thenew owners would take over the entire business including all parties that have already been booked. So never would i have to worry about having to move my location. I feel much better, but somehow, i feel more wedding nitemares coming in the next few nites. Elaine, can you tell me who your friend spoke to at East?
