You can download the Asian wedding package info here: http://www.pacificpalmsresort.com/pdf/asian_wedding06.pdf Since we went with just a basic 10 course menu without any of the extras, we didn't get a lot of the things that are listed, such as: one hour hors d'oeuvres reception, white gloved butler passed hors d'oeuvres, and a two hour hosted bar during hor d'oeuvres reception. Also, the $1250+ prices include service charge and tax. So actually, if you add up all the little extras in the packages, it might be a little more reasonable than it may seem on the surface. My fiance and I personally are not that into an extremely fancy wedding. We were looking for basic menus, and adding only the things we needed, rather than having an entire package with things we didn't really want. For those that want all the fancy things that come with a nice wedding, a package may just be the easier way to get everything. I guess it's kind of like buying a car... some companies allow you to purchase the car in trims, and whatever trim you buy, you get the whole package. Some companies however, start with the basics, and you have to add the options you want one by one. Either way though, I think everyone's needs and wants are different, and as long as you get what you wanted, you will be happy with your choice. :)
