my photographer said we should have 1 1/2 hours in-between the ceremony and the reception for photos. wouldn't the hall and/or your hired florist decorate the banquet hall for you? are you having a snack/cocktail hour for your guests at the hall that you don't need to be there for? if the ceremony ends at 5 pm, does that include a receiving line afterwards (which can take another 15-30 minutes)?
