I am having the reception in the ballroom. No parking for guests. Note that overnight guests have to pay $17 or so for parking. If you and your hubby stay the night, the free parking passes they throw in won't work. I chose against having the ceremony there because having cars drive by and having the guests see the cars drive by is the atmosphere I'm looking for. Plus at $1000 rental, it's really not worth it with the less-than-optimal ambience. I am thinking about having the ceremony at Pickwick, although I haven't seen it yet. Another place to consider is the Japanese Garden, with is about 9.5 miles away. It's really beautiful, but the drawbacks are they only allow 89 people or fewer and it may be stinky because it's right by the water reclamation plant. When I went there, it didn't smell at all and the garden was so pretty. Its fees are only about $700.
