We are having our reception in the ballroom with 120 guests. They didn't require a minimum number of guests for us to use the ballroom-- we just needed to meet the minimum $8,500 guaranteed sales. We are going with the wedding menu packages, which more than exceeds the $8,500 minimum with 120 guests for the ballroom use. The Club Room looked way too cramped for us because we also wanted adequate dancing space. If you can meet the guaranteed sales minimum, let them know this and demand the ballroom use. As for the ceremony site, it didn't look very nice at all. I didn't like the fact that it was right next to the hotel driveway. Instead, we will be having our ceremony at the Pickwick Gardens in Burbank, less than 4 miles away from the Universal Hilton.
