I helped my sister with her 2nd reception which was held at a chinese restaurant. We did table cards. I think it is either all have table cards or not table cards at all - doing them for the americans vs chinese would be too confusing if its during the same reception. :-). My parents had gone to a bunch of weddings where they do asian style at the sign in table where they direct guests where to sit. I've had friends/relatives that do it both ways. We did cards for my sister's reception, but I have to say that for my sister's reception, my mom and I thought really really hard about who should sit at which table. :-) Good luck! :-)
