I was fortunate enough that my wedding happened a month before the Prince Seafood fire. But I know there are a lot of unhappy couples right now rushing to find a new reception site. So, I'd thought I offer a suggestion. Some of you mentioned the Cerritos Center, but the Lakewood Civic Center also offers wedding/reception services at the Centre at Sycamore Plaza. Located near the Lakewood City Hall on Clark Avenue and De Lamo Blvd., it may be a viable option if you're between a rock and a hard place. They have their own catering service: http://www.adolphsfoodservice.com/ It's not a ten-course meal, but it's something. Good luck.
